IONL wants to put the experience of current leaders in the hands of the leaders of the future. Mentors are available to cover a variety of topics. Each mentor below has listed their particular area of expertise and is available to work with you. Ellen Ahlersmeyer

Ellen is Nursing Director, Acute Care, Critical Care Nursing at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. Her area of responsibility is Medical, Surgical, ICU, Progressive ICU Nursing Care Units at Parkview Randallia.

Ellen has 39 years of nursing experience and 21 years of leadership experience.

Linda D. Minton

Linda is Director of Nursing at Baptist Health Floyd – New Albany, Indiana. Her area of responsibility is Women’s Services and Emergency Preparedness.

Linda has 40 years of nursing experience and 25 years of leadership experience.

Dr. Marsha King

Marsha is Dean of the University of Saint Francis, Crown Point site and Associate Professor at University of Saint Francis, Crown Point site. Her area of responsibility is the entire campus for academic outcomes and operations of the site

Marsha has 40+ years of nursing experience and 21 years as a Chief Nursing Officer and 7 years as a Dean. Certified through ANCC for Nurse Executive Advanced and certified through NLN as a Nurse Educator.

Marilyn Riley DNP-c, PhD, MSN, RN, APRN-BC, FNP, NE-BC

Marilyn is the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Indiana University Health, Frankfort. Her area of responsibilities include daily operations of a critical access hospital, including all clinical areas and administration.

Marilyn has 33 years of nursing experience and 25 years of leadership experience.

Christy Flynn

Christy is the Nursing Director at Baptist Health Floyd. Her area of responsibilities include medical inpatient, surgical inpatient, observation, heart failure program, inpatient diabetes educators and inpatient wound/ostomy.

Christy has 26 years of nursing experience and 16 years of leadership experience.

Melissa Hicks

Melissa is the Chief Nursing Officer/VP of patient care services at IUH Tipton Hospital. Her area of responsibility is Administration – inpatient/critical access.

Melissa has 10 years of nursing experience and 7 years of leadership experience. She also has certifications in Nurse Executive Leadership and med-surg and is gold trained in lean process improvement.
